I. Our Commitment To Privacy
PhilanthroPig is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. PhilanthroPig has developed this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") to ensure your personal information is protected. The Privacy Policy discloses the information we gather on www.philanthropig.com (the "Site"), as well as ways in which we process and, share such information and how you can correct or change such information. Except where otherwise expressly indicated herein or on the Site, this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected on the Site and does not apply to information collected outside of the Site. By visiting the Site, submitting information, making a donation or using any of our products or services, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and consent to having your data transferred to and/or processed in the United States. II. Information We Collect
We do not require you to register or submit Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") in order to visit the Site. Some activities on the Site can be performed without providing PII. When we ask for PII to, for instance, set up an account or fundraising page or make a donation, we will not require anyone to disclose more PII than we believe is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity. We collect the following categories of information from you:
A. Personally Identifiable Information Collected from Charities and/or Businesses
If you are a nonprofit organization or business ("Organization") and you establish an account with PhilanthroPig, we will collect the name, email address and phone number of the person who establishes an account on the organization’s behalf ("Primary Administrator"). We will collect the name and email address of any additional administrative users that are setup by the Primary Administrator ("Administrators") on behalf of the Organization. We will also collect the Organization’s address, phone number and federal tax identification number.
B. Personally Identifiable Information Collected from Donors
If you are an individual that makes a donation to an Organization on the site ("Donor") we will collect your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card and/or bank account routing and account number to complete the transaction.
C. Personally Identifiable Information Collected from Fundraisers
If you are an individual that chooses to fundraise on behalf of an Organization on the site ("Fundraiser") we will collect your name, address, phone number and email address.
D. Cookies & Log Files
Like most Websites, PhilanthroPig uses cookies and Web log files to track site usage. Due to the communications standards on the Internet, when you visit the PhilanthroPig Website, we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave PhilanthroPig. We also receive the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system and type of Web browser you are using, as well as the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This information is used to analyze overall trends to help us improve the PhilanthroPig experience and our service to you. The link between your IP address and your personally identifiable information is never shared with third-parties without your permission unless when required by law. Our log files are not tied to personally identifiable information. Our cookies are tied to personally identifiable information in order to perform authentication into the site. We use Google Analytics, a third-party tracking service, which uses cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about our visitors to our site in the aggregate to capture usage and volume statistics. Some of our business partners (e.g., Google Analytics) use cookies on our site. We have no access to or control over these cookies. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by PhilanthroPig only and does not cover the use of cookies by any third-party.
E. E-mail Communications
When you send an e-mail to PhilanthroPig, we may retain your e-mail address and the contents of the e-mail you send. If you are an Organization, Donor or Fundraiser, PhilanthroPig will communicate with you through e-mail. Please be aware that you will always receive certain e-mails from PhilanthroPig related to the proper function and activity of your account.
F. Non-Personally Identifiable Information
From time to time, we may also ask you to provide us with non-PII, which is data that does not allow us to identify you personally, such as your first name or zip code. Your non-PII may be aggregated and used for our internal purposes or for creating reports for third-party advertisers and partners, or otherwise shared with third parties for any lawful purpose, without your permission. No third party should know who you are as a result of the use of your non-PII.
We also may automatically collect Site usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of users to the Site, pages visited and similar data. This data is used in the aggregate, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. Aggregate information generally is collected through the use of cookies as discussed above. This aggregate information helps PhilanthroPig determine general usage patterns and modify the Site in order to improve your experience. This type of aggregate information may be shared with third parties at any time.
III. How We Use Information
When you provide us with your PII, we may use such information for a number of purposes, including:

- To provide reporting data to an Organization to whom you have made a donation;
- To provide an alert to an Organization for which a Fundraiser is requesting participation;
- To provide a report to our advertisers or business partners that tells them who responded to a particular offer or to facilitate the fulfillment of an order that you have made with an advertiser or business partner;
- To provide you with important functionality changes to the Site, new PhilanthroPig services and special offers from PhilanthroPig;
- To customize, analyze, adjust and improve the Site to meet our your, advertisers' or business partners' needs and expectations;
- To enforce our agreements with you, prevent fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities, for other legally permissible purposes and generally to ensure that we comply with applicable laws;
IV. Accessing or Changing Your PII
PhilanthroPig allows you to change or correct inaccuracies in your PII by logging into your account and making changes to your PII.
V. We Do not Collect Information from Children.
Consistent with the PhilanthroPig Terms and Conditions, this website is a general audience website that is not targeted to children under the age of 13. The website does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. In order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we ask that you not provide personally identifiable information to us if you are under the age of 13 and that you don’t use or otherwise access this Site. We urge parents and guardians to supervise their children’s website browsing.
VI.Disclosure of Information To Third Parties
PhilanthroPig may give, share, sell or trade your PII to or with any third parties under the following circumstances:
A. Organizations
When you make a donation or register to fundraise on behalf of an Organization, PhilanthroPig shares with the Organization your name, address, email address, donation amount, date of transaction, transaction identification number and the name of the fundraiser associated with the donation. If you wish to stop receiving communications from an Organization, please contact it directly.
B. Fulfillment of Services
We may retain other companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf. Examples include, but are not limited to, companies and individuals who: (i) administer the PhilanthroPig accounts; (ii) process donations; (iii) customer support, web hosting, internet service, and data analysis; (iv) vetting of organizations; and (v) process donation transactions. Such third parties may be provided with access to PII needed to perform their functions but may not use such information for any other purpose.
C. Compliance with Law and Fraud Protection
We may disclose any information, including, without limitation, PII, that we deem necessary, in our sole discretion and without your prior permission, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. We may also exchange information, including, without limitation, PII, with other companies and organizations for credit fraud protection, risk reduction and related activities or to protect the rights, property of safety of PhilanthroPig, its agents, employees or affiliates or others. PhilanthroPig reserves the right to disclose PII for a user who we believe is in violation of our Privacy Policy or other terms of service as posted on the Site, even without a subpoena, warrant, court order or other governmental request.
D. Sale or Transfer of Information
In the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, dissolution or sale or transfer of substantially all of the assets of PhilanthroPig or the Site, PII and/or other information collected about you from the Site may be sold, assigned or transferred to the party acquiring all or substantially all of the equity and/or assets of PhilanthroPig or the Site in order to permit the party to continue the operation of PhilanthroPig and/or the Site or any successor version of the Site. VII.Credit Card Information
PhilanthroPig does not store credit card information from individuals who make a donation through the site. PhilanthroPig has been certified by Trustwave for adherence to PCI security guidelines and has been qualified by Trustwave for their Trusted Commerce program. Trustwave is a leading provider of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance to organizations worldwide.

This Web site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by PhilanthroPig. Please be aware that we, PhilanthroPig, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. B. Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as your social security number) during registration, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
